Television personality Renee Jane Paquette is a dual citizen of Canada and the United States. She is currently employed by All Elite Wrestling as a backstage interviewer (AEW). Previously, she was known for her time in WWE between the years of 2012 and 2020, where she worked under the ring name Renee Young and held the positions of commentator, presenter, and interviewer during that time. Young was a main cast member on the reality television series Total Divas during the time that she was working for WWE. Previously, she worked as a sports broadcaster for The Score Television Network before signing a contract with WWE.
Renee Jane Paquette was born in the city of Toronto, which is located in the province of Ontario, Canada. After finishing high school, she enrolled in improv comedy classes and applied to a number of different colleges. When she was 19 years old, she moved to Los Angeles in the hopes of launching a career as a comedic actress. However, she ultimately decided to return to Toronto and instead tried out for roles in movies, music videos, and commercials there. After a string of unsuccessful auditions, she decided to pursue a career in broadcasting rather than acting because it offered more opportunities.

In 2009, Paquette started working for The Score Television Network on a program called Right After Wrestling, which was later renamed Aftermath. On this program, Paquette presented alongside broadcasters Arda Ocal and Mauro Ranallo, as well as a former referee for WWE named Jimmy Korderas. Paquette, in character as Renee Young, made her return for a special SmackDown pre-show on Friday, October 16, and co-hosted the kickoff show alongside Booker T. This was done as part of the celebration of the second season of SmackDown on Fox, which began that same day. Paquette made a surprise appearance on the premiere episode of the new season of WWE Backstage, which aired on January 30, 2021. She was there to promote the upcoming Royal Rumble alongside her returning co-hosts, Paige and Booker T. Paquette launched her very own podcast, titled “Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette,” in the year 2021. (later renamed The Sessions with Renee Paquette).
In addition to the podcast, she also has her own channel on YouTube, which she has titled Renee Paquette and on which she posts video accompaniments to the audio episodes in the form of video clips and complete episodes of the podcast. Throwing Down with Renee and Miesha was the name of the show that she and former Strikeforce and UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate began co-hosting on Sirius XM in September 2021. In 2013, Paquette started a romantic relationship with American professional wrestler Jonathan Good, better known by his ring name Jon Moxley and formerly known as Dean Ambrose.
In the wee hours of April 9, 2017, they chose to wed one another in an unplanned ceremony that took place at their home in Las Vegas. Paquette and Good made the happy announcement that they were going to be parents for the first time in November of 2020. On June 15th, 2021, they welcomed a baby girl who they named Nora Murphy Good. Paquette is an ardent supporter of the ice hockey team known as the Vegas Golden Knights. She had been a fan of wrestling since she was a child, and she continued to be a fan as an adult “I went to a few different events, including WrestleMania VI.
Because my father is a concert promoter, he was always able to get me into the shows. When I was younger, I remember going backstage and meeting people like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Chyna, and Trish Stratus. The fact that I am now in this position is really funny to me. My original goal was to become a WWE Superstar, but I ended up taking a different route.”Paquette made the announcement that she had successfully obtained her citizenship in the United States in March of 2021. Her cookbook, titled “Messy in the Kitchen: My Guide to Eating Deliciously, Hosting Fabulously, and Sipping Copiously,” was published in the month of May.
