In October of 2002, Garcia’s first single, titled “Shout,” made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at position No. 69. In 2007, Garcia was asked about how she felt after hearing the news. She responded by saying, “When my single came out years ago, and it was just a single, I remember the very first week it charted No. 69, and I was screaming as I grabbed Billboard, running down the streets of New York, holding it up and screaming, ‘I made Billboard! I made Billboard!'” I can’t help but daydream of being there again. Garcia contributed to the recording of “Need A Little Time,” which serves as Torrie Wilson’s entrance song, for the compilation album WWE Anthology, which was released in November of 2002.
She collaborated with producers Doug Kistner and Anthony Krizan on the composition of “You Just Don’t Know Me At All,” which was included on the album of WWE originals that was released in January 2004 and served as her entrance song. In 2005, Garcia began working on a solo album with Grammy Award–winning record producers George Noriega and Tim Mitchell, who had previously collaborated with multiplatinum artists such as Shakira, Ricky Martin, and Jennifer Lopez.
Together, they were responsible for producing Garcá’s debut solo album. It was on October 9, 2007, when her album “Quiero Vivir!,” which translates to “I Want to Live!” in English, was made available for purchase by Universal Music Latino. On the album, Garcia contributed to the writing of 11 of the songs, including three that were written in collaboration with Jon Secada, who she sings a duet with on the track “Adonde.” There are ten songs on the album that are in Spanish, and two of them have been translated into English. These are “Under in Love” (“Desenamorada”) and “Where Did Love Go?” (“Adonde”). The first track, “Quiero Vivir!,” was used as her theme for walking out on stage. The second of Garcia’s angles took place on the episode of Raw that aired on December 13, 1999.
During the Women’s Championship chocolate pudding pool match, Lilian presented Miss Kitty to the competition. Following Lilian’s introduction of her, Miss Kitty took control of the microphone and informed Lilian that she will henceforth be referred to as “The Kat.” Her competitor, Tori, came out for their battle, and immediately after the two women started, X-Pac came poolside dressed in a skin-diving costume complete with a snorkel, flippers, and goggles. Tori leaped on his back as he was fixing his goggles, leading both of them to tumble into the pool. X-Pac landed on top of Tori, making it simple for Miss Kitty to pin her.
