Billy Dean Phone Number, House Address, Email, Biography, Wiki, Whatsapp, and Contact Information
Billy Dean was born on 2 April 1962 in Quincy, Florida. In his spare time, his father, also known as Billy Dean, had a band called The Country Rocks. Dean began to play in his father’s band at the age of eight. He kept playing music throughout high school, at Robert F. Munroe Day School, both with his father’s band and with other area artists. He immediately started touring in local clubs and at his high school graduation he sang Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way.’
Dean was also a high school basketball player, and he was awarded an Eastern Central Community College Scholarship in Mississippi, Decatur. He attended college for a year before leaving to pursue his desired music profession. He also served as a demo singer and he took acting classes for McDonald’s, Chevrolet, and Valvoline in television advertisements.
By the end of the decade, he had inked an agreement with EMI Music, as well as an agreement with SBK Records, a Liberty Records subsidiary. After participation in the Star Search television talent competition, he initially earned national prominence.
As a recording performer since 1990, he has made a total of eight studio albums (the first three certified by the RIAA for gold) and an excellent gold-certified package. His CDs have represented over 20 hit individuals on the country charts of Billboard, including 11 top ten numbers. In 2000, with Alison Krauss on “Buy Me a Rose,” Kenny Rogers earned a Billboard number one as guest artist and two Number Ones on Canada’s RPM country charts.
Billy Dean Biography/Wiki
“Lowdown Lonely” was Dean’s first single that didn’t enter the charts. The second release of his debut album Young Man was “Only Here for a Little While.” This song and its follow-up, “Somewhere in My Broken Heart,” were both no.3 singles on the country charts on the 1989 album, No Holdin’ Back. The latter was also a little hit on the contemporary Hot Adult Track charts.
Young Man was RIAA recognized for gold. In 1991, Dean’s second self-titled album was followed by a gold certification soon. There were four singles: “You Don’t Count the Cost” and “Only the Wind” and “Billy the Kid” each at No. 4 on the country charts, whereas the one “If There Hadn’t Been You” was No. 3 on the billboard and No 1 on both the former US country charts of Radio & Record (now the Mediabase) and the Canadian country chart RPM Country Tracks.
After his first three studio albums, the 1994 album was a major hit. This album reprinted his first nine singles, together with a new song, “Once in a While,” which Dean composed and recorded for the soundtrack of 8 Seconds (1994). The song reached No. 53 on the basis of unwanted airplay. His final release for SBK/Liberty, Men’ll Be Boys, came later in 1994.
This album did not work as successfully in sales or charts, generating the title tune No. 24 “Cowboy Band” and No. 60. After this album, Dean raised his children with hiatus. Dean returned to recording the Capitol Records Nashville in 1996 for his fifth album, It’s What I Do. This album brought him back to the top ten with its title single, and “That Girl’s Been Spyin’ on Me,” which respectively reached 5 and 4.
The final song, a version of “I Wouldn’t Be a Man” by Don Williams from 1988, came short of Top 40. He worked with actress and singer Crystal Bernard in addition to co-writing his first single, “Have We Forgotten What Love Is,” for her 1996 first album “Girl Next Door.” A non-charting single, “In the Name of Love,” was released later this year and never appeared on an album.
In 1998, Victoria Shaw and several other musicians, including Dean, cooperated in “One Heart at a Time” charity single. His sixth album, Real Man, was released in mid-1998. Only one Top 40 Hit was released in this album, followed by “Innocent Bystander” number 68. Following this album, Dean left the roster of Capitol. He also took action again, appearing in the A Face to Kill For and Blue Valley Songbird small TV specials.
In 2000, he and Alison Krauss performed on Kenny Rogers’ track Buy Me a Rose, which in May of that year reached the top of the country charts at Billboard. This song was also a top forty smash on the Billboard Hot 100, and the first number-one song by Rogers in 13 years. A year later, on the album ‘Please Keep Mom and dad in love’ which was publishes on Rogers’ Dreamcatcher Records, Dean joined Suzy Bogguss and twelve-year-old singer Jillian Arciero (credited as Jillian).
While he continued traveling, he only charted “I’m in Love With You” on the independent label View 2 back in 2003. His next version for View 2 was the cover of “Thank God I’m a Country Boy” by John Denver. Curb Records promoted this track soon after its release and achieved the 27th position in the country charts in the middle of 2004. It was followed by a song “Let Them Be Little,” penned by Lonestar’s Richie McDonald and captured by the band on their album Let’s Be Us Again in 2004.
Dean’s seventh studio album, sometimes known as Let Them Be Little, was finally released on Curb in late 2004. Although “Let Them Be Little” hit the number 8 high in the country charts in the beginning of 2005, other songs of the album did not all reach the Top 40. The Christ CD came at the end of 2005. The CD included a duet with his daughter. Billy took over the lead part (originally played by Kenny Rogers) in Hank Longley at Starlite Theater, Branson, Missouri, in “The Toy Shoppe” (a composition written by Kenny Rogers and Kelly Junkerman) till the end of 2013.
