Wood, who has previously served as a journalist for Marketplace, became the host of the daily show Marketplace Tech on September 5, 2017.
She graduated from the University of Montana–Missoula with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, concentrating in French. She led the University of Montana’s student newspaper, the Montana Kaimin, as its editor from June 1996 until May 1997, during her final year. Following her graduation, she began working as a reporter for the Missoulian. She began working for the Associated Press as a Western United States general news and sports reporter in July 1997.
