Making stories come to life in front of my eyes was magical, even if the stories were terrible!” This would serve as motivation for him in the future as he pursued a career in television camera operation. Dane Boedigheimer Biography/Wiki

Upon graduating from college, Boedigheimer and his girlfriend, along with Grove, moved to Bakersfield in 2004, where they both worked as production assistants for MTV’s Pimp My Ride, with Dane earning $700 a week between October 2004 and December 2005. However, due to the long work weeks (60 to 80 hours), he would have little time to make movies at home.

Dane had already made up his mind about pursuing a career in television after finishing work on the show. In order to be original, “I wanted to do things my way.” For his YouTube channel and other sites such as JibJab (2007–2008), Boedigheimer made numerous talking food videos prior to The Annoying Orange. In an interview, he explained that the inspiration for The Annoying Orange came from his previous work, which included talking food videos, puns, and special effects.

The video was originally going to be called The Annoying Apple, but when he started animating it, he realized it would be simpler to add features to an orange than an apple and make it more noticeable. In addition, it was intended to be the lone YouTube video featuring the annoying orange character.

Boedigheimer decided to turn the video series into a full-time series once it became popular with viewers who requested more videos after the fourth episode. Following the series’ success, on January 11, 2010, he launched a YouTube channel called “realannoyingorange” in honor of The Annoying Orange. H2M in Fargo created its own “Talking Orange” in 2006 as the spokesman for a North Dakota Department of Transportation advertising campaign in response to the series’ success.

Both of the characters had ties to the Fargo-Moorhead region and were two anthropomorphic oranges. Despite only resembling the “Talking Orange” by a small margin, the Annoying Orange was considered an intellectual property issue by H2attorneys. M’s According to Boedigheimer, before the disagreement was brought to his attention, he had not watched any of the “Talking Orange” videos because he assumed that there were not many similarities between the characters in those two films.

With a few exceptions, new episodes of The Annoying Orange are released every week. Realannoyingorange’s YouTube channel, which is now the official Annoying Orange channel, releases new episodes every Friday. Boedigheimer founded Gagfilms on Valentine’s Day 2005, and the company has since amassed a devoted following. As a freelance filmmaker in January of that year, Daneboe began producing several video series for his YouTube channels, Daneboe and Gagfilms.

Between June 2006 and August 2007, he worked as a multimedia reporter for The Bakersfield Californian. In addition to the Annoying Orange, Boedigheimer and his associates were responsible for other productions. On his YouTube channel, he produced a show titled Thunder McWylde. Cartoon series Thunder McWylde debuted on October 10, 2013, and it follows the adventures of the titular character, a former street fighter who is now trying to live a normal life despite his overwhelming strength.

On The Annoying Orange YouTube channel, he and Rob Jennings collaborated on The Misfortune of Being Ned, a cartoon series. There’s a lot of bad stuff that happens to Ned in this animated series that premiered on October 9th, 2013, and will end on April 23rd, 2014. Boedigheimer has produced two short animated films in which he voices the main character. Stuck In An Emo Band and Stuck In A Bank were the titles of his songs and stories, respectively.
