Higa launched the Conservation Cast in July 2019, which is a podcast where listeners can learn about animals and acquire knowledge from specialists such as conservationists, wildlife enthusiasts, and science communicators. Higa is currently hosting the podcast. The American Eagle Foundation received $3,000 thanks to the podcast’s debut episode, which was donated to the organization. Speakers from groups such as Save the Rhino, the Exotic Feline Rescue Center, and the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund have also been featured on the show.  With 63 episodes, Conservation Cast has successfully raised over $80,000 US Dollars for various groups all over the world that work to protect wildlife.

Higa was elected to a position on the Board of Directors of a wildlife rehabilitation center in Central Texas in October of the year 2020. Her primary responsibilities include providing raptor care and rehabilitation. Higa hosted a charity webcast for her recently established non-profit exotic animal refuge and virtual teaching center called as Alveus Sanctuary on February 10, 2021. In November of 2021, Higa and her good friend and fellow Twitch streamer, QTCinderella, started working together as co-hosts of the Wine About It podcast. After Higa declared in September 2022 that she would be taking an “indefinite sabbatical” from producing internet material, Wine About It went on hiatus at that time. In 2019, Higa started a romantic relationship with another Twitch streamer named Matthew Rinaudo, also known by his online moniker Mizkif.  Rinaudo made the statement on Twitter on September 14, 2021, stating that he and Higa had decided to end their relationship.
